Meet the Teacher
I am passionate about teaching your child!
Hi! I'm Haley. I am the Owner/Director of Wanderlust Learning Center and I am a lifelong learner. I believe that knowledge is power and that the best way to learn is to teach! I believe in quality public education, which means I also believe in the power of EARLY education.
I have a Master's Degree (M.S.) in School Psychology & an Education Specialist Degree (Ed.S.) in School Psychology. I am a licensed school psychologist in the state of Iowa. My training & experience allow me to support each of my student's individual needs at school with evidence-based strategies & teaching!
Now, I get to teach YOUR child online.

OUR PROGRAMS:
2-Year-Old Class
(2 Days Per Week)
Tuition: $40/month
WHAT YOU GET:
TWO 30- to 45-minute "No Stuff" live classes per week for your child to attend via Zoom with their classmates!
Our 2-Year-Old Classes are designed to get your child acquainted with learning from a teacher, following a basic routine, and getting used to being in a class with other students.
During each class will focus on topics such as the weather, days of the week, talking about feelings and emotions, and the basics of shapes, letters and numbers. We will also cover other basic topics throughout the year, but the above list will be the core of most 2-year-old classes!
Unlike our 3s & 4s and 4s & 5s classes, 2-year-old classes are ALL No Stuff classes! This means that NO materials will be needed during class!
You'll also get....
Parent interview/intake meeting to discuss your child’s individual needs, strengths, interests, preferences, and what is most important to you when it comes to teaching your child which occurs prior to our first class!
Access to FREE virtual field trips!

*Payment of the first month's prorated tuition is due at the time of registration for each enrollment period (August-December, January-May, & June/July).
3s & 4s Class

+ 1-time* $80 Materials Fee
WHAT YOU GET:
THREE 30- to 45-minute live classes per week for your child to attend via Zoom with their classmates!
PLUS- Two extra (optional) "No Stuff" classes each week! In our No Stuff Classes, we supplement the curriculum from our regular classes with movement activities, story time, and more (without using any stuff from your Materials Box)!
All materials for preschool delivered right to your door!
You'll also get....

Timely progress monitoring in literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional skills.

Does an adult need to be present for classes?
Yes. After helping the student get logged into live classes, adults should stay nearby to assist as needed. Adults will not need to participate or be on-screen for any reason, but students may need help staying on track or using materials appropriately. Think of the supervision level as roughly the same as if your child was doing a simple arts and crafts activity!

Do I need to buy supplies?
No! At the time of registration, a "Materials Fee" payment is required ($75). That fee covers supplies for the entire enrollment period. Material Boxes will be delivered to your child's primary address throughout the enrollment period as needed. The boxes will arrive organized, labeled, and ready to go for upcoming classes!
If you are joining 2-Year-Old classes, there are no materials needed!

Is it easy to access classes?
Yes. You can access live classes through Zoom on any device with internet.

How long is the enrollment period?
The Fall 2023 enrollment period begins on August 21st and ends in December. Payment of the one-time Materials Fee at registration secures your child's spot for the entire enrollment period.

How often do I need to pay?
Tuition payments are due monthly and should be submitted by no later than the 5th of each month (or the first business day following). All tuition and fees will be listed on your monthly invoice, which is emailed to you with a payment link on the 1st of each month.

Can I cancel my child's enrollment?
You may cancel your child's enrollment at any time. However, the Materials Fee is non-refundable so that we are able to secure your child's spot throughout the enrollment period. Monthly tuition payments are non-refundable after the first class of the month has occurred.

What if my child misses a class?
If your child isn't able to make it to class, that's okay! We'll upload the class recordings to your Member's Area so your child can watch them when it works for your family.
**NOTE**
Please contact Miss Haley if flexibility with payments is needed. We will always do our best to help keep your child in our program. We understand that sometimes, life brings difficult circumstances.
